Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering strongly preferred; associate degree with equivalent experience required.
  • 4+ years of experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry with increasing project responsibilities.
  • 2+ years of project management, project coordination, or related leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering and design terminology.
  • Understanding of project schedules, contracts, project financials, documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships, create accountability, and coordinate information across clients, contractors, and technical teams.
  • Commitment to exceptional client service, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for SCCAF coordination among the client, general contractor, electrical contractor, and Olsson engineering team.
  • Lead the SCCAF process from project kickoff through final reports and labels, keeping the work aligned with construction milestones and project priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed SCCAF schedule, adjusting it as project information, equipment data, and construction activities evolve.
  • Coordinate the flow of SCCAF information and deliverables, including requests for information, submittals, equipment data, settings, labels, study revisions, and final reports.
  • Track required inputs and follow up with project partners to address missing information, field discrepancies, late design changes, or other items that may affect progress.
  • Plan, lead, and document SCCAF coordination meetings while maintaining clear action items, responsibilities, and follow-up.
  • Partner with technical teams to support quality, consistency, and alignment between SCCAF deliverables and approved construction documents.
  • Identify schedule, coordination, and project delivery risks early and work with stakeholders to develop practical solutions.
  • Support project management activities, including deliverable tracking, document control, invoicing coordination, project reporting, and adherence to Olsson's quality processes.
