Requirements

- Expert-level SQL skills with ability to write complex queries independently.
- Deep understanding of unit economics, including gross margin, contribution margin, and COGS structures.
- Demonstrated ability to independently frame and decompose ambiguous business problems.
- Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to VP or C-suite stakeholders.
- Proven experience building datasets and validating data quality in complex environments.
- High autonomy and self-sufficiency in fast-moving, shifting environments.
- Demonstrated depth in financial and operational modeling.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end COGS and gross margin analysis for hardware and software product lines.
- Model cost-saving opportunities and deliver actionable profitability recommendations to senior leadership.
- Structure and solve ambiguous, high-stakes business questions through rigorous analysis.
- Partner with data engineering, finance, and product teams to influence roadmap and investment decisions.
- Navigate complex data environments to establish ground truth and build durable analytical frameworks.
- Maintain high operational rigor through documentation and version control.
