Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree (PharmD, RPh, PA) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, access/reimbursement, or patient support center industry.
- 2+ years of people management/leadership experience.
- 3+ years of experience with direct provider/caregiver/patient interaction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Case Management and Patient Access Services.
- Understanding of privacy laws and regulations including HIPAA and similar state laws.
- Demonstrated experience in hiring, developing, and managing diverse high-performing teams.
- Strong leadership, planning, data/analytics, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to work in a matrix environment with high ethical judgment.
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and/or internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a dedicated team of Case Managers aligned to therapeutic area or brand-specific programs.
- Manage team workload and responsibility scope to ensure appropriate coverage of patients and physician offices.
- Improve patient/provider experience by developing and implementing program improvements cross-functionally.
- Partner with Central Operations for CRM system operations, technical escalations, and optimization.
- Collaborate with Performance, Quality, and Excellence (PQE) to monitor and coach team call and system performance.
- Identify and report adverse events through established Novartis systems.
- Serve as the single point of contact and liaison for the patient journey and key stakeholders.
- Oversee 5-7 Supervisors who directly manage 10-14 Case Managers each to ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate with training teams on the design and administration of process and systems-based training.
