Requirements
- Proven experience leading high-ambiguity platform, developer ecosystem, creator ecosystem, marketplace, or AI tooling products.
- Strong product judgment regarding what makes a platform powerful for developers and approachable for new creators.
- Technical fluency with code, APIs, and developer tools, paired with the ability to lead engineering conversations.
- Deep understanding of technical platform tradeoffs, including observability and performance.
- Experience with developer or creator onboarding, documentation, SDKs, marketplaces, and app distribution.
- Strong analytical skills for defining and measuring ecosystem health, retention, and builder productivity.
- Ability to reason across multiple stakeholder groups including developers, creators, moderators, and community members.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creation tools, LLM-based workflows, or prompt-to-app development paradigms.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills to set investment frameworks in ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities
- Define product strategy for the transition from code-first development to broader AI-assisted and no-code creation.
- Own the roadmap for developers.reddit.com, covering onboarding, documentation, and AI-assisted creation tools.
- Lead the strategy for AI-assisted app creation, including prompt-to-app workflows and reusable templates.
- Develop the product approach for an App Marketplace to facilitate discovery and distribution of community tools and games.
- Improve app review and ecosystem operations through automation, AI-assisted workflows, and policy optimization.
- Partner with Engineering to prioritize platform primitives such as APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and performance reliability.
- Drive app success and retention by identifying best practices, shaping incentives, and creating clear paths from launch to growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams like Community, Games, and Safety to launch new platform functionality.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, DevRel, Data, and Legal.
