Requirements
- Reside in the state of Illinois.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6 or more years of progressive experience in managed care operations, including value-based payment and provider performance improvement.
- 2+ years of leadership and management experience.
- Strong understanding of the Illinois Medicaid MCO contract.
- Proficiency in quality improvement principles and analyzing metrics like HEDIS.
- Experience with Medicaid provider types including pediatrics, OB/GYN, and behavioral health.
- Exceptional relationship management skills.
- Valid state driver's license and personal vehicle liability insurance.
- Ability to travel as needed throughout Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Establish policies and operating procedures for the provider engagement team.
- Guide engagement strategies to support high performance in quality measures and value-based payment arrangements.
- Develop and execute provider outreach campaigns for quality improvement.
- Monitor provider feedback and team performance against KPIs and contractual commitments.
- Represent local market leadership in planning with internal partners to ensure alignment.
- Increase provider network participation in value-based payment arrangements.
- Onboard and train new provider engagement team members.
