Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare client management, healthcare consulting, strategy, finance, or operations.
- 2+ years of experience supporting analytical or strategic workstreams and developing recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- 1+ years of experience analyzing complex financial or operational data.
- 1+ years of experience navigating and organizing large data sets like hospital price transparency files or claim files.
- Experience supporting negotiations, commercial agreements, or complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent professional working experience.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings and occasionally for company events.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of market-level contracting strategies.
- Analyze and evaluate provider economics, reimbursement arrangements, utilization, and competitive dynamics.
- Translate financial and operational analyses into clear recommendations for negotiation strategy.
- Prepare and participate in negotiations with hospitals and health systems, including developing reimbursement models.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with healthcare providers with guidance from senior team members.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of provider agreements to identify financial and operational improvements.
- Manage cross-functional contracting workstreams from analysis through execution and implementation.
- Monitor networks for compliance and develop corrective action plans as needed.
