Requirements
- Proven experience in medical billing with specific expertise supporting Chiropractic practices.
- Hands-on proficiency and direct experience using ChiroTouch EMR.
- Experience using Intermedia phone systems or comparable multi-line VOIP software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of claims submission, insurance verification, and pre-authorization workflows.
- Expertise in accounts receivable management and denial resolution.
- Fluent verbal and written English skills.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule aligned with PST hours.
- Private, HIPAA-compliant home office with a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a clear headset.
Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle claim submissions, track insurance payments, and process patient billing statements.
- Maintain clean ledger records and verify diagnostic/procedural coding within ChiroTouch EMR.
- Conduct insurance verification, eligibility checks, and secure required care authorizations.
- Manage A/R aging reports, investigate denials, and file timely appeals.
- Handle outbound calls to insurance carriers and manage practice inquiries via Intermedia.
- Collaborate with U.S.-based practice managers to address documentation gaps.
