Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in social media, community management, digital marketing, or brand communications.
- Experience managing branded social channels for consumer, FMCG, beverage, lifestyle, or culture-led brands.
- Excellent English copywriting skills.
- Strong understanding of Australian social tone, humour, restraint, timing, and cultural cues.
- Confidence in managing communities, conversations, and escalations independently.
- Ability to work effectively with in-house creative studios.
- Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Reels, and Stories.
- Ability to manage content calendars, approvals, publishing workflows, and reporting.
- Experience with influencer campaigns, paid social, and EDM/email marketing is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social listening tools is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day community engagement across Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community interactions in the brand’s tone of voice.
- Moderate conversations and escalate customer, brand, or reputation issues when needed.
- Conduct social listening, sentiment monitoring, and identify opportunities across competitor and partner communities.
- Manage the editorial calendar, social publishing workflow, and platform scheduling.
- Write engaging social copy, including paid social copy where required.
- Localise and project-manage creative assets by coordinating approvals and ensuring timely go-live.
- Generate always-on content ideas, reactive opportunities, and social-first concepts.
- Support campaign, influencer, CRM, email marketing, and activation moments.
- Provide monthly social reporting, recommendations, and performance optimisation.
