Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in legal technology, consulting, an in-house legal department, law firm, legal software provider, or a related environment.
  • 7+ years of experience contributing to legal technology assessments, requirements gathering, system design, configuration, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Legal Management and related solutions, including eBilling, Matter Management, Legal Hold, and Legal Workflow technologies.
  • Proven track record leading complex legal technology projects or major workstreams from discovery through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch optimization.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including experience managing tasks, resources, schedules, scope, and financial considerations.
  • Four-year degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Data & Analytics, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of technology implementation lifecycles, including requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, data migration, testing, and change management.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex enterprise legal technology projects and workstreams from discovery and assessment through requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, change management, and post-launch optimization.
  • Facilitate client business process reviews, identify key requirements, and translate business needs into clear technical requirements and solution designs.
  • Develop and maintain project deliverables, including process documentation, functional and technical design documents, data maps, test scripts, training plans, and user guides.
  • Configure and develop legal technology solutions in alignment with approved requirements, designs, and implementation methodologies.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, workplans, timelines, resources, budgets, and financial considerations across multiple initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted client advisor, managing expectations, communicating progress, addressing challenges, and building strong long-term relationships.
