Requirements
- Proven experience analyzing requirements, product functionalities, and identifying risks.
- Strong experience managing test scenarios, defects, and bug reports.
- Experience writing agile tests using BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) practices.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, or Playwright.
- Experience testing transactional and non-transactional databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs, including testing service-to-service integrations.
- Familiarity with unit and integration testing, code reviews, and pair programming.
- Experience with messaging and queue management using technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Experience managing releases, GitLab version control, and CI/CD practices.
- Practical understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Familiarity with project and activity management tools such as Jira is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead the product quality and testing strategy, including the analysis, planning, prioritization, and management of test scenarios.
- Define, develop, and continuously evolve the test automation strategy, prioritizing critical flows, APIs, integrations, and digital journeys.
- Take a proactive approach to quality by participating in refinement sessions and identifying risks before development.
- Ensure quality traceability and documentation by maintaining test scenarios, defects, and execution results for audits.
- Act as the squad's technical quality reference, supporting developers and Product Owners in quality best practices.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of defects and production incidents, proposing preventive measures and continuous process improvements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote reliable delivery practices across development, testing, and release cycles.
