Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the lighting, electrical, or a closely related industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial markets.
- Proven success leading sales organizations and motivating high-performing teams in complex environments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and create effective succession plans.
- Strong business maturity and commercial acumen.
- Solid P&L understanding and ability to link commercial decisions to financial performance.
- Data-driven decision-making ability with a strong bias toward action.
- Ability to challenge established approaches and navigate ambiguous environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (61–80%).
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales organization and independent sales network to outperform the broader market.
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies, sales priorities, and market initiatives aligned with growth plans.
- Energize and guide sales teams and independent channel partners to achieve revenue targets.
- Build organizational capability by developing high-potential talent and establishing succession pipelines.
- Establish clear performance goals and accountability across the sales organization and channel partners.
- Resolve channel conflicts and drive organizational change through difficult business decision-making.
- Engage with distributors, contractors, specifiers, and end users to maintain a strong marketplace presence.
- Translate market intelligence and customer feedback into actionable commercial strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop sales forecasts and monitor performance drivers.
