Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, product marketing, or closely related enterprise technology roles.
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling a competitive/market intelligence program.
- Strong competitive research and analytical capabilities.
- Technical aptitude to understand enterprise infrastructure architectures, performance claims, and technical differentiation.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure, accelerated computing, cloud computing, and data storage.
- Experience developing field intelligence and win/loss programs.
- Excellent primary and secondary research skills.
- Exceptional written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using AI and automation to improve research speed and scalability.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
- Located in North America and able to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale a comprehensive competitive and market intelligence program including research sources, tools, and feedback loops.
- Develop detailed intelligence on competitors, including products, architectures, performance, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor developments across AI infrastructure, accelerated computing, cloud, and data platforms.
- Translate complex signals into actionable recommendations for positioning, product strategy, and investment priorities.
- Create and maintain battlecards, playbooks, objection-handling guides, and executive briefs.
- Build scalable feedback mechanisms with Sales and Solutions Engineering to capture win/loss insights.
- Partner with sales and technical teams to address competitor claims and shape deal strategies.
- Deliver decision-oriented competitive briefings to product and executive leadership.
- Establish measures of intelligence effectiveness including field engagement and win/loss trends.
