Requirements
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a project finance attorney or similar finance practice
- Prefer experience in data center, energy, renewables, or real estate projects
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage outside counsel
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with asset-backed securitizations, mezzanine/preferred equity, private credit, and equipment-backed structures is a plus
Responsibilities
- Structure, draft and negotiate financing documents
- Provide practical advice on financing agreements and issues
- Manage deal teams and processes
- Exercise good legal, commercial and business judgment
- Anticipate, identify and resolve business and legal risks
- Communicate deal terms and status to stakeholders
- Conduct and manage transaction due diligence
