Requirements
- Licensed CPA or in the process of obtaining the CPA.
- BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
- Experience across industries such as Technology, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Financial services, or Non-Profits.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
- Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Experience auditing complex accounts like inventory, revenue, and equity/stock options.
- Ability to analyze information to make appropriate recommendations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple audit engagements and resolve legal, regulatory, and accounting issues.
- Manage client services including audit strategy, business plans, budgets, and scheduling.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction.
- Research, understand, and apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures.
- Mentor and train staff through regular feedback and career guidance.
- Draft and deliver proposals for engagements.
- Advise clients on U.S. regulatory changes, risk management, and best practices.
