Requirements
- Licensed CPA, or in the process of obtaining the CPA.
- BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in public accounting in a variety of industries (e.g., Technology, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Financial services, or Non-Profits).
- SEC experience preferred.
- Experience auditing complex accounts like inventory, revenue, and equity/stock options.
- Demonstrated leadership/supervisor experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and prioritization skills.
- Ability to synthesize research into actionable deliverables.
- Strong client-needs assessment and problem-solving skills.
- U.S. accounting credentials may be required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple engagements and resolve all legal, regulatory, and accounting issues.
- Supervise and manage services to clients, including audit strategy, business plans, engagement budgets, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to drive satisfaction.
- Research, understand, and apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures.
- Develop, motivate, and mentor staff through training and regular feedback.
- Draft and deliver proposals for engagements.
- Manage complex engagements involving multi-jurisdictional financial reporting and U.S. tax law.
- Advise clients on U.S. specific regulatory changes and risk management.
