Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-8 years of experience in renewable energy, industrial construction, or capital project management.
- Advanced knowledge of construction management methods for large-scale projects.
- Experience with contract management, procurement, and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
- Extensive experience with EPC and BOP construction contracting, including RFP processes and bid negotiation.
- Basic knowledge of US construction labor relations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Project.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Support construction due diligence including constructability reviews, risk analyses, and project scheduling.
- Review and address upfront construction and execution-related issues to ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Manage RFI and RFP processes to transition projects from development to execution.
- Develop detailed baseline project schedules incorporating appropriate contingencies.
- Manage the EPC RFP process including scoping, evaluation, and selection.
- Lead EPC contract execution and coordinate with legal and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain project budgets and cash spend forecasts in coordination with cost estimating.
- Lead project status meetings and cultivate relationships with contractors and suppliers.
