Requirements
- Strong proficiency in at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Confident knowledge of networking, TLS/certificate management, IAM, and access control.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; Helm experience is a plus.
- Strong coding skills in Python and Bash for building robust tools.
- Understanding of workflow engines, remote compute, and storage.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills for technical onboarding and pre-sales.
- Proven ability to research and solve unfamiliar technical problems independently.
- Fluency in using AI tools for infrastructure and documentation with critical judgment.
- Experience with HPC schedulers like SLURM or Grid Engine is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead client implementations across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments, from initial requirements to a working Seqera Platform deployment.
- Stand up environment infrastructure including networking, DNS, TLS, private CAs, IAM, secrets, container runtimes, and storage.
- Deliver implementations within client security and compliance constraints, guiding their IT teams through each change.
- Build tools that make deployment repeatable, safe for non-experts, and well-documented.
- Partner with Sales and Scientific Development to shape solutions and run proof-of-concept deployments.
- Act as a senior escalation point, turning recurring client problems into lasting fixes.
