Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture or infrastructure (blade chassis, servers, hypervisors, storage, storage fabrics, backup).
- 10+ years of experience with VMWare and associated product range in enterprise environments.
- Expert proficiency in writing, debugging, and maintaining scripts (PowerShell, PowerCLI, Javascript).
- Expertise in automation and IaC technologies (SaltStack, Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with VMware VCF, Aria, vSAN, NSX, and virtual networking.
- Ability to develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience.
- Certification in one or more: VCIX, VCAP, VCP, VCDX, CCIE, VMCE.
- Certification in one or more: NVIDIA, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google GCP.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and research skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Perform low-level design and implementation, including architecture analysis, system migration, and systems engineering.
- Design and implement VMware VCF (Cloud Foundation), Aria Automation, and Private AI Foundation.
- Implement automation and IaC technologies including SaltStack, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Serve as technical lead and subject matter expert on projects, overseeing team deliverables and outcomes.
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to identify and close professional services opportunities through customer discovery.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to other architects and consultants.
- Develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) and support revenue growth through professional services engagements.
