Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5-7 years of experience in clinical or healthcare operations.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience directly supervising non-clinician staff.
- Demonstrated ownership of clinician scheduling/coverage and/or real-time queue management.
- Proven track record of improving operational KPIs such as SLA attainment and throughput.
- Experience using AI tools to improve personal or team efficiency.
- Ability to work in a 24x7x365 care delivery environment, including non-traditional hours.
- Demonstrated success leading in a fully remote environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop the non-clinician care team, including medical assistants and prior authorization specialists.
- Manage 24x7x365 clinician scheduling, shift coverage, and PTO planning across time zones and visit types.
- Monitor and balance real-time patient queues to meet SLAs and optimize throughput.
- Implement process and AI-driven improvements to operational workflows and care delivery.
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs, reporting on metrics like wait times, utilization, and cost per visit.
- Collaborate with clinical, product, engineering, and data science teams to align operations with organizational goals.
