Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in a field such as international development, health, research, or related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant project management experience.
- At least 2 years of management experience.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, processes, and software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex workplans, budgets, schedules, deliverables, and critical paths.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to influence and coordinate across functions and organizational boundaries.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Ability to travel approximately 10%–25% as required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and virtual meeting platforms like Teams/Zoom.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of central-level projects and Core-funded initiatives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project management tools, workplans, schedules, and budgets.
- Establish best practices and standardized processes to improve project execution and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with technical and program teams to resolve implementation challenges and dependencies.
- Monitor contractual deliverables and operational commitments, escalating risks as needed.
- Serve as an operational point of contact for initiatives, troubleshooting cross-functional challenges.
- Build relationships with partners and stakeholders through collaborative decision-making.
- Support resource planning, team coordination, onboarding, and performance management processes.
