Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 3–7 years of experience in Revenue Assurance, Revenue Operations, Customer Financial Operations, Financial Analysis, Contract Administration, Audit, Billing Operations, Business Analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret contracts, pricing schedules, amendments, and customer agreements.
  • Experience evaluating financial impacts and developing recommendations supporting business decisions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, reporting).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines against service-level expectations.
  • Familiarity with billing operations and order-to-cash workflows.
  • Experience in data center, colocation, managed services, cloud services, SaaS, or other recurring-revenue environments preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or billing platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer claims, disputes, and account concerns, validating contractual terms, pricing, and financial obligations.
  • Investigate disputed charges, account discrepancies, and complex customer financial issues to determine appropriate resolutions and amounts due.
  • Assess and recommend customer adjustments when warranted, preparing supporting documentation for management review and approval.
  • Analyze customer account activity to identify revenue leakage, financial risk exposures, process deficiencies, and control gaps.
  • Conduct detailed account research and root-cause analysis to resolve recurring issues and improve revenue integrity.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analytics covering customer disputes, account adjustments, revenue recovery, revenue risk, and operational performance.
  • Partner with Finance and other business stakeholders to support revenue validation, financial controls, and revenue assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with Billing Operations on customer investigations, escalations, billing discrepancies, and complex account issues.
  • Support operational reporting, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within billing operations.
  • Maintain working knowledge of billing, provisioning, and order-to-cash processes to support operational continuity.
