Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in Revenue Assurance, Revenue Operations, Customer Financial Operations, Financial Analysis, Contract Administration, Audit, Billing Operations, Business Analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and critical-thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret contracts, pricing schedules, amendments, and customer agreements.
- Experience evaluating financial impacts and developing recommendations supporting business decisions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, reporting).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines against service-level expectations.
- Familiarity with billing operations and order-to-cash workflows.
- Experience in data center, colocation, managed services, cloud services, SaaS, or other recurring-revenue environments preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or billing platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer claims, disputes, and account concerns, validating contractual terms, pricing, and financial obligations.
- Investigate disputed charges, account discrepancies, and complex customer financial issues to determine appropriate resolutions and amounts due.
- Assess and recommend customer adjustments when warranted, preparing supporting documentation for management review and approval.
- Analyze customer account activity to identify revenue leakage, financial risk exposures, process deficiencies, and control gaps.
- Conduct detailed account research and root-cause analysis to resolve recurring issues and improve revenue integrity.
- Develop and maintain reporting and analytics covering customer disputes, account adjustments, revenue recovery, revenue risk, and operational performance.
- Partner with Finance and other business stakeholders to support revenue validation, financial controls, and revenue assurance activities.
- Collaborate with Billing Operations on customer investigations, escalations, billing discrepancies, and complex account issues.
- Support operational reporting, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within billing operations.
- Maintain working knowledge of billing, provisioning, and order-to-cash processes to support operational continuity.
