Requirements
- Master’s degree in Poultry Science or Animal Science, or a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- 5+ years of experience within the poultry or swine industry.
- Practical knowledge of poultry sector structure, market dynamics, and key influencers.
- Demonstrated success in technical services and introducing new products or concepts.
- Strong scientific foundation with the ability to write, execute, analyze, and present research protocols.
- Proven ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, compelling presentations.
- Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Experience working effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Excellent organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel regularly for customer meetings, industry events, and business activities.
- Experience using CRM systems like Salesforce is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, veterinarians, nutritionists, and industry influencers.
- Lead strategic technical initiatives to strengthen market presence and customer value.
- Provide technical expertise and support to sales teams during customer and prospect meetings.
- Deliver technical presentations at customer meetings, industry events, and forums.
- Develop technical content including scientific papers, bulletins, and product-support materials.
- Identify technical or value gaps and address them through research, field trials, and publications.
- Partner with Marketing to align technical content and campaign messaging.
- Maintain customer and influencer records in Salesforce CRM.
- Assess technical training needs and deliver training programs for the sales organization.
- Prepare reports and protocols for field trials and analyze research data.
