Job Details

8+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or software development.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience.
Proven experience owning test strategy and automation for complex, distributed, or cloud-based systems.
Proficiency in automated testing tools for unit, API, and user interface testing.
Experience working in CI/CD pipeline environments using tools like GitLab or Jenkins.
Working knowledge of secure coding and secure engineering expectations.
Experience validating message/event-driven systems including Kafka and asynchronous processing.
Familiarity with API-centric architectures such as microservices and serverless applications.
Technical fluency in languages such as Java, Python, SQL, or JavaScript.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
U.S. residency for the last 5 years as required for security clearance processing.
Ability to provide onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility.

Lead project planning by identifying testing scope, risks, environment needs, and tooling.
Translate business requirements into test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases.
Design and build automated unit, API, integration, and UI tests within CI/CD pipelines.
Perform functional testing of workflows, edge cases, data validations, and error handling.
Validate API-centric designs and message-based systems like Apache Kafka.
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure environment readiness and deployment support.
Produce testing documentation including defect reports, dashboards, and runbooks.
Conduct root-cause analysis and verify fixes for documented defects.
