Requirements
- 12 to 15 years of experience in a Pre-Sales Engineering or Pre-Sales Solution Architect role within IT infrastructure technology, OS, or cloud ecosystem.
- 10+ years of IT virtualization architecture experience with VMware, Nutanix, HPE Morpheus VM Essentials, or RedHat.
- Technical and functional expertise with hyperscalers, hybrid environments, open-source components, security, AI, and containers.
- Full life-cycle implementation, configuration, and administration experience with VMware.
- Knowledge of IT virtualization maintenance, patching mechanics, and security architecture.
- Proven history of achieving sales quota goals.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time to support sales deals.
- Ability to work remotely from a home-based office.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Senior Account Executives to support and influence sales opportunities across global markets.
- Engage directly with customers to understand technical needs, address challenges, and provide expert guidance throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with Sales, Service Delivery, and Product teams to secure accurate pricing, delivery approvals, and alignment on solution feasibility.
- Act as the technical subject matter expert, distilling complex concepts for audiences ranging from C-level executives to technical practitioners.
- Deliver compelling presentations on services and support models both virtually and in person.
- Guide clients on virtualization support, security, and long-term modernization paths, including hybrid cloud and container strategies.
- Develop comprehensive scoping requirements to define services for downstream execution.
