Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent knowledge).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT or clinical environment.
- Proven experience with business process mapping, requirements analysis, and acceptance testing.
- Epic Prelude certification required (or must obtain within 6 months).
- Experience with Epic and other healthcare information systems.
- Understanding of technical components, databases, and interface design.
- Proficiency with project management software and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to translate user needs into technical specifications.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify, map, and analyze clinical and business processes for assigned Epic applications.
- Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
- Perform system configuration to meet defined business requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and validation for unit and integration testing.
- Develop product documentation, including workflows, specifications, and user manuals.
- Manage application version upgrades and coordinate with clinic users regarding system changes.
- Provide user training and ongoing troubleshooting support.
