Requirements
- Epic Hospital Billing (HB) certification is required.
- Epic Professional Billing (PB) certification is required.
- Proven experience managing or supporting Epic implementations in complex healthcare environments.
- Strong technical and functional knowledge of Epic applications.
- Ability to evaluate system changes from both application-specific and enterprise perspectives.
- Ability to interact confidently with healthcare professionals and staff.
- Strong planning and organizational capabilities including budget and risk management.
- Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as required.
- Ability to work a typical Monday–Friday schedule in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and subject-matter expertise for Epic Hospital Billing and Professional Billing applications.
- Oversee the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of application work products.
- Mentor application team members and provide guidance on technical and functional challenges.
- Consult with clients and stakeholders to design solutions accounting for enterprise-wide impacts.
- Build relationships with healthcare leaders and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Support Epic implementation and application management initiatives.
- Contribute to engagement strategy to improve application performance and client outcomes.
- Plan and manage project considerations including budgets, timelines, communication, and risks.
