Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience managing a team
- Track record of leading high-performing teams
- Experience building APIs using modern backend technologies
- Ability to communicate complex technical problems clearly to technical and non-technical partners
- Enthusiasm for building systems using AI and large language models
- Experience with a modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, etc.)
- Experience building systems with AI/LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Experience with server-side technology including Python and MySQL
- Experience deploying systems on AWS or other cloud providers
- DevOps/observability experience
- Knowledge of US healthcare industry and health tech
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team
- Ship AI-powered feature improvements to production
- Partner with Product and UX to scope and design new capabilities
- Lead a team of 3-5 engineers and improve team practices
- Guide technical direction for AI-native product experiences
- Collaborate with team members to deliver features end-to-end from design through deployment
- Measure and improve patient and physician experience outcomes
