Requirements
- 3+ years of corporate accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience reading and interpreting lease agreements.
- Experience with NetSuite and Excel.
- Familiarity with Adaptive Planning, Floqast, Coupa, and Square.
- Experience with multi-location property accounting is highly preferred.
- Experience working in a multi-location retail organization is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Complete complex accounting tasks for income statement and balance sheet, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Serve as lead accountant for Property Accounting for over 80 locations, covering rent, CAM, utilities, taxes, licenses, deposits, and prepaids.
- Perform flux analysis and prepare financial reports.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve and streamline current accounting processes.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed.
