Requirements
- Proven experience scaling a people function from a small team to a multi-country organization.
- Track record of personally closing senior hires.
- Deep knowledge of European employment across borders, including EOR versus local entities.
- Experience building compensation and equity frameworks from scratch.
- Proven experience operating in an AI-first manner.
- Fluent professional English.
- Experience in healthtech, life sciences, or regulated industries (preferred).
- Experience supporting a company through a financing round and subsequent scaling (preferred).
- Familiarity with Belgian employment and social security specifics (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Own the hiring engine end to end, including search strategy and personally driving the most senior searches.
- Build the employer brand to attract top-tier talent.
- Manage multi-country employment setups, including decisions on EOR versus local entities.
- Coordinate core people operations including payroll, social security, and policies.
- Design and implement a compensation and equity framework with clear benchmarking.
- Install a lightweight performance management rhythm and development paths.
- Operate the people function using an AI-first approach for sourcing, screening, and documentation.
