Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting in the networking industry.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols: MLAG, LACP, IGMP, PIM, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, VRRP, SPBM, VXLAN.
- Expertise in authentication mechanisms and access policies (e.g., 802.1X, RADIUS).
- Hands-on experience with network simulation, testing tools, and packet capture analysis.
- Familiarity with network automation tools such as Ansible and Python scripting.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams, partners, and internal stakeholders to support regional revenue goals.
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations that clearly articulate solution benefits and design principles.
- Lead discovery sessions, solution design, and technical validation for wireless LAN, campus/edge switching, SD-WAN, data center fabrics, and cloud-managed networking.
- Participate in technical assessments, Demos, proof-of-concept deployments, and architectural workshops.
- Troubleshoot complex customer environments and provide technical input during escalations.
- Utilize protocol knowledge and traffic analysis to resolve issues and optimize network designs.
- Leverage basic scripting (e.g., Python, Shell) to support automation or testing tasks.
- Act as a liaison between customers and product/engineering teams to communicate feedback and ensure solution alignment.
