Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive corporate tax experience.
- Active CPA certification.
- Substantial experience leading global tax reporting and compliance within a multinational public company.
- 5+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Deep expertise in ASC 740, income tax accounting, and financial reporting.
- Comprehensive understanding of U.S. federal, state, local, and international income tax requirements.
- Proven experience managing complex tax audits and SEC disclosures.
- Demonstrated ability to use generative AI, automation, and advanced analytics in tax operations.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Big Four experience and/or experience in the technology/SaaS sector preferred.
- Proficiency with tax technologies like OneSource, Workiva, SAP, Oracle, or Alteryx preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year strategy for the Global Tax Reporting organization.
- Lead worldwide quarterly and annual income tax provision activities under ASC 740.
- Oversee global direct tax compliance across U.S. federal, state, local, and international jurisdictions.
- Prepare and review tax-related financial statement disclosures for SEC filings and earnings releases.
- Manage the global tax reporting control environment, including SOX compliance and audit readiness.
- Drive AI, automation, and digital transformation across tax provision and reporting processes.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team while building partnerships with senior stakeholders and auditors.
