Requirements
- 6+ years in analytics, workforce planning, FP&A, or operations analytics.
- Advanced Google Sheets proficiency, including complex formulas, cross-file references, and large-scale management.
- Proven experience creating and maintaining spreadsheet tools for other teams.
- Direct experience reverse-engineering undocumented or poorly documented models.
- Experience supporting FP&A, workforce planning, or demand forecasting processes.
- Ability to independently retrieve and validate data using SQL or equivalent querying tools.
- Strong stakeholder-discovery skills to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Ability to create clear documentation and handoff materials.
- Production discipline to manage multiple deadlines under time pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Operational mindset focused on detailed tasks like reconciliation, formatting, and file organization.
Responsibilities
- Audit and improve high-burden Google Sheets models, strengthening structure, readability, maintainability, traceability, and error handling.
- Establish consistent standards for formulas, inputs, assumptions, versioning, and file management.
- Reverse-engineer undocumented models and create practical documentation covering data sources, business rules, and dependencies.
- Maintain organized Google Drive file structures and archive stale materials to ensure auditability.
- Support the recurring workforce planning and forecasting cycle through data ingestion, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Strengthen Jira workflows and develop repeatable procedures for analytics intake and project tracking.
- Develop standardized model outputs and templates for executive reporting.
- Validate source data using SQL or equivalent tools, investigating and resolving data issues independently.
- Use Apps Script or Python to selectively automate tasks and reduce operational risk.
