Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 3 years of professional work experience.
- Advanced or proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of SQL (joins, aggregate functions, stored procedures).
- Experience with C#, Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language.
- Ability to effectively use generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
- Familiarity with Databricks and AWS.
- Ability to handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in financial services, actuarial science, insurance underwriting, QA, Agile/Scrum, or Git (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for the Irix technology platform.
- Manage client and clinical requests, translating configuration needs into technical solutions.
- Perform impact analysis, regression testing, and validation for rule changes.
- Create and execute test cases for system and rules-engine adjustments.
- Conduct mortality, incidence-rate, and decision-simulation studies.
- Deploy cloud-based systems to test environments and legacy systems to production.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Use generative AI tools to enhance analysis, documentation, and productivity.
