Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Business Insurance, preferably within an insurance brokerage environment and in a client-facing or business process role.
- Strong understanding of insurance brokerage operations and Business Insurance workflows.
- Demonstrated critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices that enhance efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to follow through on deliverables and maintain a high standard of accuracy and quality.
- Hands-on experience with agency management systems such as Applied Epic.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with national, regional, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into practical workflows, procedures, and technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Business Process Leader to design, refine, and standardize workflows within the Business Insurance line of business.
- Participate in working groups with national and regional stakeholders to develop consistent, scalable processes across the organization.
- Evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, consistency, and overall effectiveness.
- Apply industry best practices and process improvement methodologies to enhance business procedures and operational workflows.
- Support the configuration and optimization of agency management systems, including platforms such as Applied Epic.
- Document business processes, procedures, workflows, and operating standards to promote consistency and effective adoption.
- Design reporting outputs that provide stakeholders with relevant operational and performance insights.
- Develop client deliverables and supporting materials aligned with business and process requirements.
- Lead and support training initiatives to help colleagues effectively adopt new processes, systems, and workflows.
