Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience managing commercial construction projects from conceptual development through procurement, construction, and closeout.
  • Demonstrated experience with major project delivery methods, including Lump Sum, Construction Management at Risk, and Design-Build.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management practices, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, cost control, and contractor management.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and coordinating diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel for project budgets and reporting.
  • Experience delivering mission-critical facilities, particularly data centers (highly desirable).
  • Extensive experience managing MEP trades (preferred).
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field (an advantage).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level presentations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, preconstruction, construction, and closeout activities for multiple development projects across assigned campuses.
  • Develop and communicate monthly program and project updates for executive-level reviews.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, designers, engineers, contractors, and construction teams to develop comprehensive campus master plans and capital budgets.
  • Manage entitlement, permitting, and multi-phase site development activities.
  • Develop scopes of work for design, construction, and commissioning services; participate in procurement, cost estimating, and bid evaluation.
  • Coordinate project submittals, monitor project costs, commitments, and overall budget performance.
  • Establish and maintain detailed project schedules and drive completion of critical milestones.
  • Review contractor pay applications and change order requests, negotiate pricing, and maintain financial controls.
  • Collaborate with sales engineering and product teams to support client solutions.
  • Support due diligence for potential new sites and contribute to improving project management standards.
