Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Public Safety and project management for complex software application deployments.
- Prior people management experience is mandatory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project for schedule planning.
- Strong skills in project risk assessment and mitigation strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated team player capable of working with general guidance.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%.
- High School diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, IT, or Management.
- Ability to obtain required government background clearance.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must pass and maintain CJIS Security and Privacy: Privileged Role certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead large programs or complex projects up to $10M.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of project teams and manage direct reports.
- Conduct needs assessments and gather project requirements.
- Define and develop program scope, objectives, budgets, and metrics.
- Manage projects through their full lifecycle, including performance tracking and evaluation.
- Identify and mitigate risks, developing appropriate mitigation plans.
- Allocate staff, procure internal/external resources, and manage vendor relationships.
- Serve as primary interface to internal teams and senior customer stakeholders.
