Requirements
- Must be a current participant in the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or related discipline preferred, or relevant technical experience in mechanical/electrical infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability to obtain NFPA 70E and OSHA 10/30 certifications.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to rent vehicles for domestic travel.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%) to active construction sites throughout the U.S.
- Ability to work in office, critical-facility, outdoor, and field environments.
- Physical ability to handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and navigate field sites.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining organization and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating construction activities to align with drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements.
- Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement items, and other project records using established systems.
- Support updates to schedules, budgets, and internal tracking tools under supervision.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct field walks to monitor construction progress, quality conformance, and safety expectations.
- Prepare daily notes, field reports, logs, and progress updates.
- Assist with punch-list management, testing verification, and commissioning readiness.
- Develop familiarity with construction documents to understand how design information translates into field execution.
