Requirements
- 5-7 years of OSP project management experience with large customer exposure.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a telecom contract management position.
- Contract drafting experience and knowledge of contract terms.
- Excellent written and executive oral communication skills.
- Ability to summarize key contract issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel), Outlook, and MS Teams.
- Proficiency with GIS-based mapping tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Experience in telecom outside plant design, construction, or network planning is preferred.
- Paralegal certification, business management, or financial management experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Act as OSP project manager for assigned construction projects.
- Serve as primary lead for the negotiation and acquisition of infrastructure contracts such as dark fiber, conduit agreements, and splicing orders.
- Coordinate the delivery, acceptance, and integration of infrastructure components.
- Forecast and manage expenditures related to infrastructure contracts and track budget impact.
- Develop network expansion and operation projects requiring third-party asset acquisition.
- Obtain quotes and provide cost estimates for infrastructure components.
- Provide infrastructure-related expertise as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Support post-execution contract management including data entry, invoice analysis, and deliverable tracking.
- Mentor, train, and provide direction to other Contract Managers.
