Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience managing government contracts, grants, or sponsored programs in nonprofit, public sector, or human services.
- Proven experience in post-award grant administration, performance monitoring, and compliance oversight.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles for cost-reimbursement, milestone-based, and performance-based contracts.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and executing funding agreements, subcontracts, and amendments.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local government grant systems and portals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex grant agreements.
- Excellent project management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage an assigned portfolio of grants and contracts, including execution, funder communication, and renewals.
- Support negotiation and legal review of awards, escalating high-risk terms.
- Partner with the Fiscal team to ensure accurate revenue recognition aligned with contract terms.
- Coordinate document preparation for funding-agency audits and monitoring notices.
- Track deadlines, reporting schedules, and deliverables for assigned caseload.
- Provide embedded compliance support to Program teams onboarding new federal or state awards.
- Represent assigned grants in internal and external meetings to communicate status and risk.
