Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager (BDM) within residential care.
- Focus on young adults or complex care services.
- Demonstrated track record of success in developing new services.
- Experience in tendering for properties.
- Experience collaborating with commissioners.
- Strong communication skills.
- Confidence in working with internal and external professionals.
- Deep understanding of adult social care services.
- Ability to travel throughout the North of England.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Operational Management, Divisional Directors, Finance teams, and the Group Executive to market and develop new and existing services.
- Drive occupancy rates across various social care settings.
- Support the end-to-end referral process in collaboration with Registered Managers.
- Build and maintain relationships with local and health commissioning authorities.
- Oversee contract bids, tenders, and frameworks to ensure services meet strategic goals.
- Promote the client's values and standards as a key stakeholder representative.
- Support marketing efforts and contribute to PR activities.
- Work with finance teams to ensure appropriate fees and payment terms.
