Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Certified billing or coding certification.
- Expertise in telemedicine billing and coding for SUD/OUD/G Codes.
- Working knowledge of industry best practices including charge capture, contractual adjustments, and cash management.
- Fundamental knowledge of revenue integrity (CPT and ICD-10 coding).
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Experience managing internal projects.
- Degree in health administration or related field preferred.
- Consistent access to a private work environment with high-speed internet.
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage the Athena EHR billing system.
- Manage the offshore Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) vendor to ensure timely billing, collections, and month-end close.
- Partner with Compliance to ensure adherence to state and federal regulatory requirements.
- Direct daily operations for billing, financial coordination, and counseling teams.
- Own end-to-end revenue cycle transformation projects, including code optimization and contract expansion.
- Define and report on core revenue cycle KPIs to leadership.
- Evaluate and implement new RCM software and technology systems.
