Requirements
- Proven experience running API integrations for customers at a fintech/payments company OR experience owning docs/SDKs at an API-first company.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to document complex systems clearly.
- Hands-on API troubleshooting experience including reading logs and debugging webhooks.
- Ability to reason about authentication and use testing tools like Postman, Bruno, or Datadog.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve technical issues independently.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments where technical stacks change frequently.
- Proficiency in utilizing AI tools to improve documentation and workflow efficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment across Canada, USA, or Latin America.
Responsibilities
- Own the API and integration docs by rewriting inaccuracies and filling in missing content.
- Build quickstarts, sample code, and reference architectures to facilitate developer integration.
- Provide technical support during sales conversations and resolve partner integration issues.
- Manage the partner onboarding process including requirements intake, provisioning, and go-live checks.
- Collaborate with the integration program manager to track partner timelines.
- Deepen knowledge of the technical stack including ramps, wallets, and banking rails.
- Build demos and sample apps for business development use.
- Provide feedback on API usability and rough edges to Product and Engineering teams.
- Automate onboarding processes and utilize AI tools to improve documentation and support speed.
