Coinme engineers build scalable services and distributed systems to manage the flow of funds, both fiat and crypto. They design solutions for complex technical and business problems, focusing on performant, maintainable code. The backend architecture leverages Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, and an event-driven design using CQRS and Event Sourcing. They utilize Kafka for inter-domain event-driven design and Axon Framework for intra-domain. The team operates within Kubernetes on AWS solutions, using MySQL and MongoDB for databases. This robust stack supports critical functions like KYC, payment processing, liquidity, and custody solutions.
