Requirements
- Have 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Be familiar with AWS.
- Write software to solve problems, beyond configuration when the situation calls for it.
- Be willing to learn new tools quickly.
- Work collaboratively and communicatively.
- Maintain high standards when working with production systems.
- Value code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
- Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code experience is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins is a plus.
- Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows.
- Build and improve internal tools and platforms that help other engineers work more productively.
- Manage and evolve AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Participate in on-call rotations and turn incident patterns into permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to understand infrastructure needs and reduce friction.
- Replace repetitive operational work with software.
