Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years relevant experience, insurance investment/middle office experience preferred
- Advanced Excel proficiency including XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, aggregation formulas, PivotTables, chart/table construction and reconciliation of large datasets
- Strong PowerPoint and data visualization skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective collaboration across multiple teams
- Professional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bloomberg and Bloomberg API experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets to support investment analysis and reporting
- Generate investment reporting for diverse internal and external stakeholders including executive committees and the Board of Directors
- Produce daily and weekly reports including fixed income trades and unrealized gain/loss positions
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes including incorporating AI tools
- Integrate third-party data sources such as Bloomberg into data analysis and reporting
- Support investment portfolio operations in coordination with Investment Accounting, external managers, custodians and vendors
- Manage collateral operations in support of the Company’s Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) spread investment program and state-required deposits
- Compile and organize investment data in Excel for annual rating agency surveys
