Requirements
- Proven experience building shared components or platform services that teams depend on.
- Deep expertise in domain-driven design and event-driven architecture.
- Experience building production systems for AI features, including handling messy or governed data.
- History of maintaining and carrying a pager for production systems used by other teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple programming languages and paradigms.
- Strong skills in data modeling and query performance tuning under high load.
- Experience using AI-augmented development tools with critical judgment.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS at scale and tenant isolation (preferred).
- Familiarity with PHI or regulated data in an AI or analytics context (preferred).
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS (preferred).
- Experience with contract testing or service virtualization (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design and build the retrieval and context layer for ECP Intelligence agents.
- Develop tool surfaces that allow AI agents to act within existing user permissions and security contexts.
- Take ownership of critical shared components and identity services to document and improve their reliability.
- Modernize messaging backbones by implementing contract testing and establishing ownership.
- Design integration paths between new Node/TypeScript services and the legacy ColdFusion platform.
- Establish evaluation frameworks to monitor AI agent performance and prevent regressions.
