Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrable hands-on incident command experience.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and AWS.
- Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD.
- Working knowledge of FedRAMP/NIST SP 800-53 controls.
- Ability to work overnight or weekend shifts.
- Ability to serve as the senior lead during technical incidents.
Responsibilities
- Lead the floor during assigned shifts as the senior voice for incident escalation.
- Provide technical direction and triage for multi-cluster AWS and GovCloud/Amazon EKS infrastructure during incidents.
- Oversee FedRAMP compliance activities including CVE remediation SLAs, DISA STIG hardening, and access control.
- Execute detailed shift handovers to ensure continuity across teams.
- Mentor SRE II engineers on shift to establish high standards for incident handling.
