Requirements

- Experience building and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.
- Proficiency with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Ability to debug and solve issues in complex production environments.
- Understanding of how to profile applications and databases for performance.
- Fluency in a UNIX shell for log analysis and operational tasks.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Strong understanding of computer science concepts (algorithms, data structures, systems design).
Responsibilities
- Build and run monitoring, tracing, and alerting infrastructure.
- Drive platform security initiatives and preventative reliability efforts.
- Lead incident response, recovery, and root cause analysis.
- Maintain high availability and redundancy for platform services.
- Improve deployment processes to ensure fast, safe code changes.
- Deliver a scalable product platform to support engineering teams.
- Identify novel ways to handle load and scale resource-intensive applications.
- Assist engineers in writing reliable code.
