Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a Staff, Principal, or Architect role.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS serverless (Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, StepFunctions).
- Experience with traditional service architectures (ECS, RDS, API Gateway).
- Track record of leading monolith-to-services migrations including traffic-splitting and canary rollouts.
- Fluency in Python, Java, and PHP with ability to reason about TypeScript frontends.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and DynamoDB single-table design.
- Strong proficiency in writing technical design documentation.
- Experience with observability instrumentation (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch).
- Familiarity with Auth0, browser automation (Playwright), and data pipelines (Glue/Athena) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate agentic AI infrastructure using AWS Bedrock and MCP servers.
- Define tool interfaces, evaluation harnesses, and shipping production AI workflows.
- Own AI agent lifecycle, including prompt engineering, guardrails, evaluation, and cost optimization.
- Lead system design and migrations, specifically monolith-to-services decomposition.
- Implement dual-write frameworks, API Gateway traffic-splitting, and per-tenant feature rollouts.
- Establish technical patterns for observability, security, and data architecture.
- Mentor senior individual contributors and raise the technical bar across five engineering teams.
