Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Information Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in knowledge management, content management, insurance operations, information sharing, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and sustaining knowledge management practices within a team, department, or organization.
  • Familiarity with insurance processes such as underwriting, claims, sales, or related operations is preferred.
  • Experience working with knowledge management platforms such as SharePoint, ProNavigator, or comparable solutions is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate, structured, and governed information.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement capabilities, with the resourcefulness and persistence to resolve complex challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, subject matter experts, customers, and vendors.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills, with an open and inclusive approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience delivering training, facilitating discussions, or helping teams adopt new processes and systems.
  • Ability to establish high standards of performance while working independently, proactively managing priorities, and driving initiatives through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a centralized digital knowledge base using a governed knowledge management platform and structured content model.
  • Capture, organize, curate, review, and update knowledge content to ensure it remains accurate, relevant, accessible, searchable, and compliant.
  • Establish and maintain content standards, taxonomy, metadata, version control, governance processes, and recurring review cadences.
  • Partner with subject matter experts across underwriting, product, sales, marketing, customer service, claims, and other functions to document best practices, FAQs, workflows, and regulatory updates.
  • Support compliance initiatives by ensuring knowledge resources reflect applicable insurance requirements and help mitigate operational and regulatory risks.
  • Identify and address content gaps revealed through quality assurance, training, operational feedback, employee questions, and recurring business themes.
  • Prepare structured and governed knowledge assets that can be effectively used by employees, search technologies, and future AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Administer and optimize the selected knowledge management platform, such as SharePoint or ProNavigator.
  • Train employees on how to access, use, maintain, and contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Monitor knowledge-base usage, collect user feedback, analyze effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
